I didn't have a problem during assembly. The pieces were in great shape (shipped with extra padding)and fit together easily. It looks good and adds life to a piece of a room that was previously dark. It's a great price and the only thing that could be better would be if I received in without a need for any assembly.
Bright display of glass cystal. If the bottom lit up, it would be very nice, but we still like it as is.

The price was very competitive.
The two top holes of the left glass panel that hold the locking nuts were drilled off center by a half inch so the screws missed the nuts. I had to re-drill the holes.
There was no protection for dust infiltration through any of the (loose fitting) joints or around the doors (which had as much as a quarter inch space between the glass doors and the cabinet frame). This is the purpose of having a glass covered curio cabinet to turn your dust collectors into collections. I had to add seals on all the joints and around the doors.
The light baffle didn't block the light from the end which meant it partially blinded viewers when looking through the left window. I had to apply a baffle to cover the end of the light.
The instructions did not show how to adjust the rear baffle to block light from reflecting off the mirrors into the viewer's eyes.
There was no light for the two shelves in the bottom case leaving them too dark to see the contents.
The reasons I didn't return the cabinet was the price, the exact fit for its use, and my ability to repair the deficiencies more quickly than I could repack the cabinet and send it back.

The cabinet looks real nice. I had to redrill some of the holes in the door hinges because they either weren't deep enough or didn't fit the hinges. No big deal. Didn't take as long to put together as I thought it would.

Once we got this built, it looks as advertised. However, it took my very handy husband over 3 1/2 hours to assemble it. The pre-drilled holes were often not aligned and too short for the screws provided. He had to do a lot of extra
drilling. The "assembly required" is not for the faint of heart!

Cabinet is basically a bargain and looks good. Craftsmanship of doors and fit to cabinet frame are average.I changed the hinges and handles to solid polished brass to "spruce it up". Instructions were clear. Two aluminum pin locks broke when I tried to tighten them. they can be bought at any home improvement center.
Overall a nice piece and fits into corner well.

My curio cabinet was shipped very quickly after I had made the purchase. Every piece was packed well, all hardware was present in the correct number, and the assembly instructions were clear. The finished piece is really beautiful and has a look of quality and solidity that enhances my dining room. I don't have a single complaint!
